2 old village houses.

2 houses, a two storey house and a three storey house.
The three storey building can be some 300 - 500 years old, with more than 2 feet
thick walls. About a hundred years ago a new section was added, 2 story, and they
were connected as one house. Back in the 1950s the owner died. Her two sons
divided the building and the connection between the two was blocked.
The 2 storey building was a bar, and into the 1960s it was also where the village had
it's only telephone booth.

A new owner made it a private home, but then, early 2000, together with a friend, converted
the 2 houses to a rental project for tourists.

For about 5 years it was out of use, and the  two houses was beaten by weather and
lack of maintenance, and especially the roofs needed full renovation - rebuilding.
Wet and cold during the winters, humid during the summers showed on the ceilings,
walls and windows both inside and outside. Everything had to be redone.
First step: Completely rebuild the two roofs and then let the structure dry out.
 We bought the 2 houses with the garden in October 2019 and took on the work.
